Golden Anniversary For High-Tech Sensors Designer

June 16, 2015 – Farmingdale, NY. American Aerospace Controls Inc. (AAC) today announced that 2015 marks it’s fiftieth anniversary as a designer and manufacturer of rugged, high-performance, high-reliability voltage and current sensors for demanding aviation, space, military, rail and industrial applications. Founded in 1965 by Robert M. Gitlin, the company continues under the stewardship of his wife, Mrs. Ruth Gitlin, who carries on his vision of providing sensors with exceptional performance and reliability.

From the beginning, AAC’s core competency was electrical measurement and control solutions. Early products designed for application-specific requirements established a reputation for their high-quality, compact and highly rugged designs, featuring low power consumption and weight. Experience gained from its earliest projects helped the company develop new technologies and evolved the company’s “Customer Focused” strategy, with emphasis on continuous quality improvement initiatives, as set forth by ISO9001 and AS9100C standards.

Mrs. Gitlin said “I am proud that, fifty years later, the company started by my husband continues to flourish by staying true to his original vision of focusing on fulfilling demanding requirements in demanding applications.”

Today, the company provides AC & DC current, voltage, power and frequency sensors shipping direct from its factory in Farmingdale, New York, USA, to customers worldwide. All products are 100% designed, developed and manufactured in the USA, each tested to rigorous quality standards.

AAC’s sensors are, by design, more reliable, more accurate and have no impact on the system being monitored, unlike traditional measurement devices.
