American Aerospace Controls Inc.(AAC) today announced that it has received the 2011 “Boeing Performance Excellence Award” for the second year in a row. The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. AAC maintained a Gold composite performance rating for the twelve month period of October 1, 2010 to September 30, 2011.

This year, Boeing recognized 558 suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level“Boeing Performance Excellence Award”. AAC is one of only 141 suppliers to receive the Gold level of recognition. AAC supplies high reliability, flight worthy AC & DC current sensing transducers in support of the CH-47 Chinook Helicopter Program.

Since 1965 AAC has provided the international aerospace community with a variety of mission critical current, voltage, power and frequency transducers. AAC is a woman owned small business certified to ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100:2004(B). The importance of obtaining achievements, such as the “Boeing Performance Excellence Award”, is that it recognizes and encourages AAC’s efforts for continued customer focused improvements.
